  • Research indicates that approximately 1 in 5 women and 1 in 33 men will be victims of sexual assault in their lifetime.1 
  • Sexual Assault is the second most common violent crime committed on college campuses.2
  • ¼ to 1/5 of all women will experience an attempted or completed rape during their 4-5 years college career.3
  • 75%-85% of victims know their perpetrators4
  • 16% of sexual assaults are reported to the Police- on college campuses studies indicate this number is as low as 5% and one study indicates that 42% of those victims on college campuses told no one.5
