V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls that raises funds and awareness through benefit performances of Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler’s award-winning play The Vagina Monologues and other artistic works. The monologues are a collection of stories, interviews, and real-life experiences from women of all ages and all walks of life from across the globe. Often controversial, but always powerful, this show is done in honor of the millions of women affected by violence every year.
VPVA produces a performance of The Vagina Monologues every spring to benefit the current Spotlight Campaign (directly through V-Day) as well as our local beneficiary, The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment (formerly known as The Rape Crisis and Intervention Center of Middlesex County).
The 2016 production will take place in the College Ave Student Center on March 31st, April 1st and April 2nd at 8 pm (doors open at 7:30) and tickets will be $7.
