Joyce is licensed as a professional counselor in both NJ and PA. She specializes in providing trauma informed care to young adults. She is certified in TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and TPYG (trauma processing yoga groups) and is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained. She believes in providing clinical services that are affirming and empowering to all individuals. As a therapist, she provides a non-judgmental relationship for people to explore how struggles can help them to rebuild and reshape their lives in ways they want and deserve. Before getting her master’s degree in clinical-counseling psychology, Joyce was a high school history teacher for six years in New Jersey.
