Turn the Campus Purple (TTCP) is a month-long awareness campaign that takes place in October across all Rutgers campuses as a part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. TTCP is a way to connect the university community, including survivors, advocates, students, organizations, faculty, staff and university leadership to raise awareness and support efforts to end all forms of domestic violence.
In addition to taking part in the events listed below, we encourage everyone to get involved and spread the word by:
Transforming Your Space
- Decorate your room, office or building in purple for the month of October
- Wear purple and encourage others to do the same
Transforming Your Social Media
- Post photos of individuals, groups, and student organizations wearing purple and tag @RUVPVA on Instagram
- Use hashtag #RUTTCP22 while participating throughout the month
- Share TTCP events on your social media accounts
